What a night of pure Metal delivered by Testament, Kreator, and Possessed! Yes, these Metal bands were all in one night and traveling North America delivering a shocking performance that rocked The History in Toronto during their Klash of the Titans Tour.

Testament is celebrating 4 decades of Metal, and is bringing a very spacial guest Possessed from San Francisco Bay Area, in California was in charge to open the night unleashing their dark lyrics and super fast paced Death Metal tunes. Possessed is literally who invented the Death Metal genre lead by Jeff Becerra who is the mastermind behind and leader of Possessed who has been there since day cero started the night with a song titled “Pentagram” followed by “Ritual” and “Tribulation”. Possessed based on their set from their classic Album Seven Churches and Revelations of Oblivion.
To be honest I have been wanting to see Possessed live for so long and they really delivered that I was looking for and more, and I bet many of us felt the same way in the audience. Jeff Becerra after their show was out at the Merch Table giving his fans autographs and photos offering fans an extra experience.

Setlist:

Next on the bill was Kreator from Essen Germany. Lead by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Miland “Mille” Petrozza, also another funding member Jürgen “Ventor” Reil behind drums, Finnish Lead Guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö and French Bass player Frédéric Leclercq. Kreator had the stage filled with great inflatables paraphernalia from their mascot called “Violent Mind” right above the drum kit and some devil creatures on each side of the stage as well as some other scary looking tortured figures.

Their performance started with an Iron Maiden song right after all lights went off and had us chanting and singing their feature tune Kreator went down to business hard and fast with a solid fourteen song setlist going through all their discography by playing at least one song of each release which it was a quite live set.
The entire band sounded tight and really well and precise.Mille’s guitar work by Mille and his very distinctive voice and Sami Yli-Sirniö were impressive and wide-ranging sounds from the rest of the band. Mille also was very engaged to the crowd and made the attendees create a massive Wall Of Death (Which is a form of moshing where the audience splits itself down the middle before the two sides run toward each other, slamming, moshing like in medieval war times), and to be honest Kreator deliver another amazing performance after Possessed.

After a short break, and having the stage ready by the roadies, Testament was ready to rock and appeared lead by Chris Dovas on Drums which already has been contributing with many great band under his belt, and really put out a great show behind the drums. Meanwhile
Eric Peterson, and Alex Skolnick doing a great job shredding their guitars going back and forth all over the stage. I was very pleased to see Bassist Steve Di Giorgio back in Testament doing his thing performing a solid set using bare hands most of the time. Let’s not forget about the main guy and his iconic voice Chuck Billy he maintains having that strong voice and stage presence that captivated the attendees delivering songs from two most iconic albums “The Legacy”, and “The New Order”.

Testament is currently touring a heavy schedule all over US and Canada celebrating 40 plus years in the Metal scene which is a must see live for any hardcore Metal fan. I was able to chat with Claudeous Creamer, and Robert Cardenas from Possessed, who were among us in the audience enjoying that killer set from Testament earlier on and both mentioned that they enjoy watching live, that one of a kind setlist. Believe me you will not be disappointed.
