The Warning, with Special Guest Mute Choir at The Axis Club. Toronto, Canada. 08/13/23 – Sold Out

The Warning arrived in Canada blasting Montreal and Toronto with sold out performances from their World Tour Error 2023 with Special Guest Mute Choir.

Starting off the show, were local band Mute Choir. Led by the Iranian Sam Arion who is the brains behind Mute Choir. He oversees producing, writing, mixing, and creating the art covers for their albums. He was joined by fellow musicians Milan Sarkadi and Iris Waters and Bradley Thibodeau on Drums.

The Torontonians produced a mixed sound of psychedelia, grunge, post-punk, and alt-rock that kept the local audience captivated. Although it was a short set, the band put on a great set, that included “Familiar Ways,” “Basement,” “Shadowboxing” and other songs from their latest release and first LP album SILENT CONVERSATIONS. 

Make sure to check out this band live, they just announced another tour in the Fall (only in Ontario for the moment) because they really have lots to offer. 

A large group of fans (a lot of them being native from different parts of Mexico, and Canada) gathered and waited anxiously to see Alejandra (Bass, Keyboards and Vocals), Paulina (Drums and Vocals) and Daniela Villarreal Vélez (Lead guitars and Vocals) originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, founding members of The Warning.

The trio started off playing a few songs from their latest Album Error including “Choke,” “Disciple.” “Z,” “Kool Aid Kids” and the self-titled song “Error.”

During the entire performance, the sisters showed off how talented and skilled they are.

For example, I love how each member of the band was able to take on some of the lead vocals as well as moving around and playing Alejandra’s bass. They are all multi-talented performers.

Paulina killed in on the drums going from very smooth to fast and faster with such a kick ass force. Daniela was shredding riffs and displaying her charisma interacting with the audience. I felt that on each song they were progressively raising the bar. They managed to keep us all chanting and singing along.

This is the Warning’s third visit to Canada, and they proved that not only can the fill a large stadium, but they can also pack a venue anywhere they go.

Their Future is now, and they are here to take over the World. I cannot wait to see them again and am excited for what the future holds for them. There are still a few more dates left for their 2023 tour, and they have already started announcing more dates for 2024.
