Most widely known for her work as a tattoo artist, Kat Von D is also one incredibly talented musician. Her debut record Love Made Me Do It was released August 27. She has also released music videos for her singles, “Exorcism,” “I Am Nothing,” and “Fear You.”
Opening the show for her was her husband Leafar Seyer, the lead vocalist for PRAYERS. Mixing synth wave with heavy electro beats, everyone in the audience was dancing and singing along in unison.
After PRAYERS finished their set, Kat Von D and her band took the stage one at a time. The current lineup is, Greg Foreman (The Pharmacist) on keys 1, Sammi Doll on keys 2, Dave Parley on drums, and Brynn Route as her dancer. The action on the stage was nonstop the entire performance. If you looked away for just a second, you were going to miss something. Each band member seemed as though they were putting on their own mini performance.
Brynn Route performed a mesmerizing solo dance during the band’s wardrobe change. The digital images on the background screen fit perfectly. They added a little extra flair to each song performed.
Both musically and visually, the entire show left everyone wanting more. Kat Von D is a force in the music world that isn’t going anywhere. She is leaving her mark wherever she goes!
