On September 18, punk legends, Flogging Molly and the Violent Femmes along with friends Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and Thick will play the Main Street Armory in Rochester, New York. Flogging Molly and the Violent Femmes will co-headline making this one incredible lineup.
The tour will celebrate the recent announcement of Flogging Molly’s 2022 Salty Dog cruise featuring Descendents, The Distillers, Frank Turner (Duo), Möngöl Hörde, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Broilers, Authority Zero, Dave Hause & the Mermaid, Thick, The Cherry Coke$, Punk Rock Karaoke and Guise, and more to be announced. Flogging Molly is no stranger to Rochester. Guitarist, Dennis Casey is a Rochester native and the band has played many packed shows in his hometown over the years.
The tour is also celebrating the Violent Femmes 40th anniversary as a band and the reissue of their 1993 album Add It Up. The band has seen many changes over the years but currently has a 2021-2022 tour planned that includes forty shows across three countries. Original members Gordan Gano (singer) and Brian Ritchie (bass) will be on the tour.
